First phase of the revitalization of the restored DMC ValMez has been successfully completed

In July 2022 development company Demaco became an owner of the industrial site with a size of 13 hectares, which has been until that time owned by production company Schott. Schott have from their new owner rented for a long term more than 38 000sqm of production and warehouse premises. Part of the agreement with Schott has been a construction of new warehouse facility with a size of 11 150sqm which has now been successfully handed over.

“We´re enthusiastic, that we can announce a successful completion and handing over of the first modern industrial hall. Our investments into this location create new job opportunities and support an economical development of this beautiful valasky region”, says Jaroslav Kaizr, partner and business director of Demaco.

Valasske Mezirici is not just a town on the confluence of two rivers but also an important, strategic traffic junction which forms a spinal network of Zlinsky region for connections with Moravskoslezsky region, Poland and Slovakia.

DMC ValMez is currently fully occupied and for this year there is planned construction of another two buildings with a total size of 28 000sqm. Demaco build their properties in accordance with high technological standards and at the same time is able to deliver interior dispositions, technologies as well as an exterior design according to client requirements.

“Industrial park DMC ValMez gradually, together with a new construction, undergoes its needed revitalization. We create new utility networks, infrastructure of the park and plant new greenery. During the coming three years we plan to invest into this park almost 1 billion CZK”, adds Kaizr.

New construction in so called “live brownfield” brings for any developer many challenges but also advantages. At DMC ValMez it is mainly high-voltage connection 110 kV in combination with a capable local distribution network and own source of technological water.

Close proximity of the town centre and location near to the frequent road towards Roznov pod Radhostem means an excellent accessibility of local as well as long-distance public transportation and at the same time a very good access for walkers and bikers.
